    Intention Outline
    Project Title:
Welcome to The Wonderful Wacky WikiWorld of Fractions!
General Goal: To deepen students’ understanding of fractions and how knowledge of fractions are used in everyday life, and for students to learn new techniques to communicate ideas and concepts through the use of multimedia.
Specific Outcomes: Working in groups, students will create a video that demonstrates the use of a fraction in real life and will demonstrate the relationships of that fraction to other fractions and numbers, and fraction equivalents. Students will learn how to embed a video on the class wiki. The students will learn from and assess each others' wiki pages for both math skills and technology-use skills.
Audience: Students, teachers, and parents will be the audience for this project. Students will use the comment tab on each others' wiki pages. The teacher will guide and model responsible commenting on the wiki pages. Parents and the entire school community will also be invited to view the final project.
